I believe that the best way to care for patients is to care about patients -- having been on both sides of the doctor-patient relationships I have tried to treat my patients the way I would like to be treated myself. I think the best medical decisions are made by informed patients guided by a smart doctor who will never compromise their care.

Personally, this means being available and easily reached and taking the time to make sure my patients understand their options and make informed choices.

Professionally, this means doing everything possible to minimize anxiety and discomfort with procedures and prioritizing the best, and still least invasive options for any type of surgery. I take pride in providing my patients with the latest technologies in urology such as laparoscopy, robotics and lasers.

Ethically, I feel strongly that my job is to provide an informed, honest opinion about what is in your best interest. Honesty might mean, for example, advising surgery in some circumstances, observation or medicines in others, and a second opinion in yet other situations.
