Research
We conduct research through our non-profit Institute for Bladder and Prostate Research ("IBPR"). We are in the process of creating a Web site for the Institute so please check back often to be informed of the new site.
The IBPR is currently engaged in the following research projects:
- Determining the best surgical treatment for stress urinary incontinence.
- Evaluating the results of different treatments for:
- Stress urinary incontinence (SUI)
- Urinary incontinence (UI)
- Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)
- Overactive bladder (OAB)
- Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in men
- Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in women
- Developing new treatments for overactive bladder and nocturia (getting up at night to urinate).
- Developing a classification system for overactive bladder.
