The IBPR is currently engaged in the following research projects:

  2. Evaluating the results of different treatments for:
    • Stress urinary incontinence (SUI)
    • Urinary incontinence (UI)
    • Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH)
    • Overactive bladder (OAB)
    • Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in men
    • Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in women
  3. Developing new treatments for overactive bladder and nocturia (getting up at night to urinate).
  4. Developing a classification system for overactive bladder.
